The difference

You drive it yourself.

No guide in the passenger seat, no lead car, no fixed route.

Five minutes of briefing, a signed condition report, the key in your hand. We suggest a road; you decide whether to take it. That is the whole product — an actual rental, not a tour with a 911 in it.

€149 from — one hour at the wheel of the Carrera S
€450 from, per day — VAT included, 200 km a day

€79 delivered to your hotel door in Barcelona and collected — €49 one way

Two ways to drive it

An afternoon block, or the car for the weekend.

Neither replaces the other. Most people flying into Barcelona want two hours between lunch and dinner; some want the 911 parked outside the hotel until Monday. Both are real products, both are priced in the open.

The cars

One you could drive every day. One you'll talk about for years.

We are not a fleet with forty badges on the keyring. We rent two Porsche 911s of the 992 generation: the Carrera S — Guards Red over black leather, 8-speed PDK, Sport Chrono and the sports exhaust — and the GT3, naturally aspirated, for the drives you plan a trip around.

Both are rented out from our base in Sant Feliu de Llobregat, fifteen minutes from the city. Maguarmotor has sourced and delivered more than 500 premium cars from Germany since the nineties — and if you fall for one, we can import a 911 of your own from Germany.

The extreme one · by the hour only

911 GT3. Naturally aspirated, 9,000 rpm, swan-neck wing.

A 4.0-litre flat-six with no turbos, 510 PS and a redline where most engines have already given up. Double-wishbone front suspension, a swan-neck rear wing, 318 km/h. There is nothing comparable available to rent in Barcelona.

The GT3 goes out by the hour only: it does not stay out overnight and is always returned to our base. That single condition is what makes it insurable — and what keeps the hourly price where it is. Minimum age 27, licence held for 5 years, €4,000 deposit. Video and telemetry of your drive are included.

Driving licence & the IDP

Flying in from the States? One piece of paper matters.

If your licence was issued in the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan or the Gulf states, Spanish law requires an International Driving Permit (IDP) alongside it. EU/EEA and UK licences are valid as issued. This applies to an hourly block exactly as it applies to a week with the car.

The IDP is not a test — it is a translation booklet. In the US, any AAA office issues it on the spot for about $20; walk in with your licence and two passport photos, walk out with the permit. Ten minutes that save your trip.

We remind you about the permit when you book, so it is on your list well before you get on the plane.

No IDP, no keys — the law leaves us no discretion, and that is the whole answer. If you are not sure your licence qualifies, write to us before you book and we will tell you straight away. More detail in our FAQ on licences and the IDP.

Getting your IDP

  • Where

In the US, any AAA office issues it over the counter, same day, for about $20. Most countries have an equivalent motoring club.

  • Bring

Your driving licence and two passport photos. There is no test and no waiting list.

  • When

Before you fly. We remind you about it when you book.

Valid as issued

  • EU / EEA licences
  • United Kingdom
  • Latin America, if issued in Spanish (prior confirmation)

IDP required

  • United States
  • Canada
  • Australia · Japan
  • Gulf states

Before you book

What we ask for. All of it, upfront.

No conditions buried in a PDF. This is the complete list — if you tick these boxes, the car is yours.

  • 25+ years of age — 27+ for the GT3
  • 3+ years holding your licence — 5+ for the GT3
  • €1,500 deposit on an hourly block in the Carrera S

Where to point it

Roads that justify the flight.

Every one of them is an open public road, driven at the speed limit. We suggest the route that fits your block and map it on your phone — where you actually go is your call.

Three steps, no counter queues, no carbon-copy forms. The whole process is built for someone landing at El Prat on a Friday afternoon with better things to do than paperwork.

Book online

Choose your mode first — a block by the hour or the car by the day — then the car, the date and the time. You see the exact total and confirm with a 30% deposit. Two minutes, genuinely.

We deliver

Free at our Sant Feliu base. Anywhere in Barcelona city — your hotel, El Prat airport or any address — €49 one way and €79 delivered and collected; outside Barcelona, €89. We walk around the car together, you sign a digital contract, and the deposit is held on your card — never charged.

Drive

Two hours on the Arrabassada, or 200 km a day on the Garraf and the Costa Brava. On return, a quick check together — and the deposit hold is released.

Good to know

Questions we get from abroad.

Short answers here — and every one of them is written into the rental contract in the same plain language.

Can I rent a Porsche 911 for just a couple of hours?

Yes — that is our entry product. Closed blocks of 1 h, 2 h, 4 h or a full day of up to 10 h. In the Carrera S: €149 (1 h, 35 km), €249 (2 h, 70 km), €429 (4 h, 140 km) and €699 (full day, 250 km). In the GT3: €349, €499, €949 and €1,590. The car goes out and comes back the same day.

Do I drive it myself, or is there a guide with me?

You drive it yourself. No guide in the passenger seat, no lead car, no fixed route. We do a five-minute briefing, sign the condition report together and hand you the key. You decide whether to follow the suggested route.

Do I need an International Driving Permit with a US licence?

Yes. US, Canadian, Australian, Japanese and Gulf-state licences need an IDP alongside the licence itself. In the US, any AAA office issues it the same day for around $20. We remind you about it when you book; without it we cannot hand over the car — the law leaves us no discretion. EU/EEA and UK licences are valid as issued.

How much is the deposit, and why does it change?

€1,500 for an hourly block in the Carrera S, €4,000 for an hourly block in the GT3, €4,000 for any rental by the day. The deposit measures exposure: on an hourly block the car comes back the same day on an agreed route; by the day it sleeps away from base and the itinerary is yours. It is always a pre-authorisation hold on a credit card in the driver's name — never a charge, no debit or prepaid cards. The standard deposit is exactly equal to the standard excess for that car; if you add Plus or Total cover the excess drops but the deposit does not, because it also covers fuel, excess kilometres and late returns.

Why can't I rent the GT3 by the day?

The GT3 does not stay out overnight — it always sleeps at our base. That is the condition that makes it insurable and the reason its hourly price is what it is. For 24 hours or more, the car is the 911 Carrera S.

Can you deliver the car to my hotel?

Yes — we bring it to your hotel door in Barcelona. There is a single delivery rule and it is the same by the hour and by the day: free at our Sant Feliu de Llobregat base; anywhere in Barcelona city — your hotel, El Prat airport or any address — €49 one way and €79 delivered and collected; outside Barcelona, €89.

How many kilometres are included?

An hourly block has a cap: 35 km for 1 h, 70 km for 2 h, 140 km for 4 h, 250 km for a full day in the Carrera S (220 km in the GT3). Add +50 km for €39 or +100 km for €69. A rental by the day includes 200 km per day; the +100 km/day pack is €69/day and loose extra kilometres are €1.20.

What is the cancellation policy?

Hourly block: full refund up to 72 hours before; between 72 and 24 hours there is no refund, but you can move the date once, free of charge; with less than 24 hours' notice, neither. By the day: full refund up to 7 days before pick-up, 50% up to 48 hours before, no refund under 48 hours. You confirm online with a 30% deposit.

Two hours, or the whole weekend. You're driving either way.

Exact price online, free cancellation up to 72 hours before an hourly block — and a reminder about your IDP so nothing spoils the plan. The 2-minute booking flow is in Spanish, or book via WhatsApp in English.
